A call for prayers

The videos Lauren sent to me of Brian today were uplifting. He looked good, alert, even seemed aware more than he has before. 

But it’s not enough. 
It’s not enough to keep the “what if’s” at bay. 
It’s not enough to unbreak a shattered heart and a broken soul that’s missing it’s mate. 
It doesn’t offer a promise or guarantee of the future. 

Words, reassurances, even facts that are optimistic just fall short. 
So tonight, please just spend some time talking to God. Ask him to fill Lauren’s heart with an abundance of peace. 
Let Him know what’s in your heart and on your mind. 

Pray for our girl and for Gods supernatural comfort.

    Prayers continue everyday for Brian's awakening, speech, recognition of Lauren and family, regaining his ability to walk and know his surroundings!

Court Hearing // My Impact Statement

There is no sentence or judgment that can be made that will change where we are today or what we have been through. The judgment today will not bring Brian back. So - I’d like for you [Angel]  to listen to how your actions have impacted our lives. Today is a day I’ve dreaded the most because it is forcing me to look back. To grieve what once was, and to relive the most painful and scary moments of our lives. It pains me to have to do this today, without Brian whole, when deep in my heart I hoped and believed he would be the one to speak today.  Before I share how the crash has affected us, I just want to say to Brian, that caring for you and speaking for you has been my greatest honor.
