A Prayer for Lauren

I ask that you all join me this Easter weekend in wrapping Lauren in prayer. (Special thanks to google and all the people who have written and posted prayers publicly that helped me piece this together)
With love for all of you,
and my dearest friend Lauren,
πŸ’› Sam

Dear Lord, please bring to Lauren hope and strength renewed. Refresh her mind. Give her the perspective you want her to have. Help her to see your hand at work in this situation. Show her how to put her trust in you so that her mind can find the rest it needs.

We know that we don’t have enough strength and fortitude for this, but you do. Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. With you, we are strong. Please make your strength very real to Lauren right now.

Help her focus on what you want her to do next, keeping her eyes fixed on you instead of what’s going on all around us.

Help her remember that she is a cherished child of the King of Kings. Speak peace to her mind. Calm her mind. Heal her of weariness. Gently lead her out from under this heavy fog; this is hard and we all need your help.

We pray the scripture Philippians 4:7 today, knowing that you will give Lauren peace and guard her heart. Renew her mind. Guard her thoughts, Lord. Transform her thinking and feelings.

Help us all to give our attention to things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and praiseworthy. Help us meditate on these things throughout the day, and also to take captive any thoughts that are working against us and not from you.

Thank you for the mercies you make new every morning, and help us to rejoice in you today. You are holy, righteous, gracious, and powerful. Thank you for giving us a divine peace. Thank you for loving us and our dear friends Lauren and Brian. Thank you for giving Brian the rest he needs, removing Lauren’s weariness, and bringing strength to all of our minds and hearts today.

In Jesus name, we pray.

Amen

  1. Amen!!! The enemy is a lier!!! Don’t let him tell u negative feelings, thoughts, and take ur trust, and faith in our Heavenly Father. God is blind faith, trust, love, patience. We will lift u both in prayers as always. God is great and he has risen. And in his timing Brian will wake. Let’s thank him for that now.
