Brian did 16hrs off the vent yesterday but he was pretty tired today so they had him on full support to give him rest. They will continue weaning tomorrow.

All vitals are still stable and normal.

Lauren is allowed to visit 5hrs per day and Erin (Brian’s sister) is allowed 2x a week and more to come!

Brian had an EEG on his brain this evening

Drs suspect there is still some swelling / potential blood present at the site of the craniectomy which would be preventing Brian from waking up. The new neurologist and Dr. McFavorite said it's nothing to worry about and it would not change their course of action, it just reaffirms that his brain stil needs more time for that swelling to come down.

Lauren got a much needed in-home massage this morning to help release tension (and it worked!)
